Art videos, and some of the art we have made in class (without names) will be posted here. Check it out!
Here is the recipe we used to make cinnamon dough ornaments in class. This is a no bake recipe.
1/2 cup table salt
1/2 cup cinnamon
1 cup flour
3/4 cup very warm water.
Mix well.
Knead dough.
Roll out and use cookie cutters to make ornaments, or sculpt the clay like modeling clay.
This recipe does take awhile to dry - a few days at least. It smells lovely and then you can paint the ornaments.
If making ornaments, remember to poke a hole with a straw while the dough is still wet so you can put a string on it.
Enjoy!
